Job Description
Are you a TIG welder ready to diversify your skill set? We are hiring for a skilled Welder to join a production team at a global automotive supplier in Troy. This isn t your typical "repair and patch" role; you will be responsible for high-standard production welding on stainless steel components. What makes this role unique is the variety. While your primary expertise is manual welding, you will also be cross-trained to master assisting robotic welding cells. This is a perfect fit for a welder who wants to expand their technical "toolbelt" into automation and maintenance while maintaining their manual craft.

High SchoolResponsibilities Perform manual welding operations using MIG, TIG, and resistance welding processes. When not manually welding, operate robotic welding cells by loading and unloading parts and starting weld cycles. Monitor robotic welding operations to ensure parts are welded correctly and meet quality standards. Perform basic robot touch-ups and adjustments following training and established procedures. Read and follow job specifications, work instructions, and part prints to ensure proper setup and material use. Inspect workpieces for defects and verify dimensions using gauges, calipers, or other measuring tools.SkillsMigTigRobotic WeldingQualificationsYears of experience:
