Job Description

Laser Access LLC services our military/defense, aerospace, medical, automotive, heavy trucks and machine equipment industries. We are looking for with MIG and/or TIG experience welding. 5 day work week 2nd 3:30 pm to 12:00am . Monday thru Friday. Functions and Responsibilities:
Operate hand-welding equipment to join metal components, or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products Read work orders, blueprints, instructions, formulas, and/or processing charts to ensure precise and accurate welding in agreement with the customer's design specifications Identify non-conformances during the inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances. Communicate and problem-solve with others in a reasonable and professional manner and work effectively in a team environment Maintain and keep welding equipment in good working order - free of debris and perform proper maintenance Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work area Follow established safety procedures and work safely all-day Follow all relative
ISO 9001
procedures Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education:
At least 3 years of welding/fabrication experience with certification in MIG/TIG welding. GTAW and GMAW welding abilities required Candidates with structural welding and heavy plating experience, or experience in military manufacturing will be given preference (required for 1st shift). Understanding of distortion control Ability to accurately read, interpret, and fabricate from manufacturing and/or customer provided blueprints to meet welding specifications Ability to accurately read weld symbols and pass all weld tests is required. Accurate and reliable measuring skills are a must Ability to weld within tight tolerances Ability to communicate properly with team members and staff at all levels in order to manufacture a high-quality product Welders are required to pass weld tests to the AWS and Military codes. Laser Access LLC utilizes Fronius welding equipment.
