Job Description
MIG Welder | 1st Shift Build Quality Products. Join a Team That Values Skilled Welders. We're looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll fabricate and weld a variety of sheet metal and structural steel products, including conveyors, tanks, frames, guards, chutes, covers, and more. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, can read blueprints, and enjoy working on custom metal fabrication projects, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel (14-gauge through 1/4") Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and layouts Fit, fabricate, and assemble metal products to specifications Use grinders, sanders, and hand tools to finish welded products Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy Mark and identify finished components correctly Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and finished products Maintain a safe and organized work area What We're Looking For ✅ MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment ✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings ✅ Experience measuring and working accurately with tape measures ✅ Strong fitting, grinding, and metal finishing skills ✅ Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools ✅ Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus Why You'll Love Working Here We believe great employees deserve great benefits.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
