Job Title:
MIG Welder Job Description Join our team to set up, operate, and tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines. You will perform MIG welding on a combination of heavy gauge stainless steel and mild steel, handling materials up to an inch thick and executing 3-pass welds. This role involves working with a core product line that includes compactors, pavement maintenance, and paving machinery. Responsibilities Safely layout, setup, and weld components according to blueprints. Perform MIG welding on heavy gauge stainless steel and mild steel. Handle welding tasks involving materials up to an inch thick, including 3-pass welds. Manage workload to support production needs. Essential Skills 2+ years of MIG welding experience on heavy gauge steel. Experience in welding from blueprints. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Additional Skills & Qualifications Students currently enrolled in a two-year program for welding are encouraged to apply. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00- $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
