We are seeking a Spot Welding Setup Technician to support and elevate our production team. In this role, you'll go beyond basic machine operation—you'll be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and optimizing spot welding equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality results across a variety of materials and part configurations. Setup the Spot welder using you specialized knowledge to select the precise current, electrode and Weld time cycle to form a proper weld. Operate the spot welder by placing two parts between electrodes pointed tips to create opposing forces which allows two pieces of metal to be heated and subsequently joined with ease. Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimensional defects to ensure conformance to specifications. Report updates, safety issues, improvement ideas, and other important information to the proper channel(s) What You'll Need... High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience setting up Resistance Projection Spot Welders in a production /manufacturing setting preferred. 1 year of experience handling parts and interacting with a spot welder or similar production equipment. Shifts available
