Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Complex Fitter & Welder to join our clients team. This position requires an expert capable of fabricating and welding metal components with precision. The successful candidate will work from blueprints and models to create parts that contribute to the development of innovative playground equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that every structure is both safe and imaginative for children to enjoy.

Set up and operate welding equipment utilizing appropriate methods. Prepare and align metal surfaces for welding tasks. Perform welding of components in various positions using manual or semi-automatic tools. Monitor the quality of welds and prevent defects. Inspect joints to ensure they comply with established standards. Conduct finishing tasks including grinding and polishing. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project objectives.

Strong focus on quality and precision. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Fitting certification or relevant experience is required. Proficiency in various welding techniques, particularly MIG, and product setup. Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail in both fitting and welding tasks. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
