Welder/Fabricator

Job description: As a Trailer Maintenance Technician / Fabricator, you will perform trailer repairs, preventative maintenance, fabrication, and custom modifications on a variety of commercial trailers. Fabricator Responsibilities:

Repair, rebuild, and perform routine maintenance on commercial and utility trailers Inspect and repair trailer brakes, suspension, axles, lights, wiring, floors, doors, and structural components Perform welding and metal fabrication on steel and aluminum trailers Read and work from measurements, blueprints, and fabrication drawings Operate shop equipment including welders, torches, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools Follow all safety regulations and policies. Works safely. Meets all federal, Minnesota state, and local regulations. Performs work efficiently and accurately in accordance with company standards Maintains a clean and professional work environment including tools and equipment Trailer Maintenance Technician /

Fabricator Requirements:

Must have valid driver's license, CDL helpful, but not required Welding or fabrication Able to stand and be physically active the majority of the work day Lifting up to 70 pounds Able to work independently Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills and awareness Strong attention to detail Able to read and comprehend instructions in English Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English with co-workers Willing to get certified for

Annual Isprections Pay:

$20.00 - $32.00 per hour
