Welder Fabricator
Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality metal structures and parts, adhering to safety standards and industry best practices. JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for taking jobs from start to finish. This includes the initial print reading, fabricating, welding, and assembly of custom parts using various materials such as metal, stainless steel, and aluminum for structural parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
include but are not limited to: Cutting, forming, tacking and welding parts together using various types of materials. Setting up and safely using various machines including the breakpress, bandsaw, shear, crane, welders, plasma cutters, grinders and other handheld tools. Operating standard and combination forklifts to move materials and finished products. Searching the AutoCad system for dimensions Cleaning up after jobs are completed Maintains compliance with established safety policies and use of Equipment, including but not limited to policies regarding personal protective equipment, workplace injuries and illnesses, lock out/tag out, etc. Completing required safety training. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
include but are not limited to: Trains new employees on the how to safely use machinery and follow procedures. Periodically interact with customers for parts, orders, pick ups, or questions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous training or experience in basic welding
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of work experience in a machine shop, plant, or manufacturing environment Blueprint reading AutoCad experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Daily - standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Plant environment with limited-climate control to include heat but no A/C. Filtered air and frequent air flow from opening outside doors in the summer. Pay:
$26.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 - 42.0 per week
