As a Welder, you'll be at the forefront of high-quality manufacturing and play a vital role in meeting our customers' needs. What You'll Do:
Perform complex MIG and TIG welding on prototype as well as long production runs--steel, stainless, aluminum. Job shop environment filled with a continual change of products. Read detailed blueprints. Consider type and gauge of material to be welded and make adjustment for proper heat. Place metal parts to be welded on fixtures, attach jigs, clamps, etc. to hold parts in proper position. Perform light gauge welding and produce work within close tolerance.
What We Are Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED; preferred completion of related trade school program. Three or more years related experience preferred. Ability to read and apply technical data from prints. Attention to detail. Basic math skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to understand processes, follow written and oral work direction, and stay on task. Good mechanical abilities. Good manual dexterity. Ability to interface with a variety of people. Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
