  • 32/HR | 1st & 2nd Shift Available | Growing Custom Fabrication Shop Are you a skilled TIG Welder looking for an opportunity to work on a variety of custom projects instead of the same repetitive parts every day?
Join a rapidly growing fabrication shop where your welding skills will be valued, your work will be visible, and you'll have the chance to work with aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel on unique customer projects. What You'll Do Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum weldments, including hydraulic reservoirs and custom fabricated components. Complete occasional MIG welding as needed based on project requirements. Fabricate and assemble parts using blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Work with materials ranging from 12-gauge to 1/4-inch thickness. Grind, clean, and finish your own welds to meet quality and appearance standards. Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality before moving parts to the next stage of production. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure customer specifications and deadlines are met. What We're Looking For At least 1 year of TIG welding experience, or a Welding degree/certificate from a technical program. Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience with grinding and finishing welds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently while meeting production goals. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a fabrication or job shop environment. MIG welding experience. Experience with custom fabrication projects rather than high-volume production. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

The shop works with a variety of materials and project types, giving welders the opportunity to continually expand their skills and tackle new challenges. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00
