Spot Welder•1st Shift (Metal Manufacturing)
Location:
Roseville, MN Pay:
$25.00•$33.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday•Thursday | 5:00 AM•3:30 PM (10-hour shifts) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift Spot Welder with machine setup experience to join a growing metal manufacturing team in Roseville, MN. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication who take pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate spot welding equipment to join sheet metal components using resistance welding techniques. Install and maintain proper electrodes on spot welding machines. Adjust machine settings, including heat, pressure, and timing, to ensure quality welds. Select appropriate heat settings based on material type, thickness, and electrode requirements. Interpret routings, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Inspect completed work using precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers. Examine welded components for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. Submit first-piece inspections for dimensional and weld verification. Produce parts according to control plans, customer specifications, and established work instructions. Monitor equipment performance and report any material, equipment, or process issues to supervisors. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of spot welding experience preferred. Experience with setup and operation of spot welding equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to bend, lift, load, and unload materials and move between workstations throughout the shift. Capable of alternating between standing and sitting while performing duties. #NowHiring
