Job Description
Join Our Team as a Class B Welder! Schwing Bioset is seeking a skilled and dependable Class B Welder to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing metal components using a variety of welding techniques. If you take pride in precision, safety, and quality workmanship, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan layouts and procedures Determine appropriate welding methods and equipment based on job requirements Set up components according to specifications for accurate welding Perform wire, stick, gas, and heliarc welding across various operations Align components using tools such as calipers, rulers, and clamps Weld in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal, and overhead) Repair machinery and metal components by welding and filling gaps Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects Maintain equipment to ensure safe operation Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Qualifications Class B Welding Certification required Minimum of 1 year of welding experience Experience with TIG, MIG, and MMA welding techniques Familiarity with hand and power tools (saws, calipers, squares, etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints Knowledge of safety standards and proper use of protective equipment Preferred Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Health & Dental Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Apply today on Indeed to join a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and reliability!
