Welder - 2nd shift

Job Title:

Welder

• 2nd shift Hours are Monday
• Thursday 2:30pm to 1am

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, and TIG welders
• Weld components in flat or vertical positions
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during welding operations
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a welder or completion of a welding program, minimum of 1 year
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including

MIG, TIG

welding

• Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a welding environment Reliable and prompt in attendance Must be authorized to work in the US Must complete background check and preemployment drug test
