Job Description

WelderOverview Eric's Welding is seeking a dependable and skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding and be able to perform quality fabrication and repair work with minimal supervision. This position involves welding and fabrication for a variety of projects, including agricultural equipment, construction equipment, structural components, and custom fabrication work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, maintains a safe work environment, and can work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Please note:
This position is currently structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor role. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as required. Fabricate, repair, and modify metal components and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements. Operate welding, cutting, and grinding equipment safely and effectively. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy. Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized. Assist with field welding and repair work when needed. Follow all safety procedures and company standards. Qualifications Previous welding and fabrication experience required. Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day. Experience with agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment repairs is a plus.
