The Toro Company:
This employee welds components used to build Toro equipment. What Will You Do? Fabricate parts by manual and robotic welding, cutting and hard coating processes. Operate wire, stick, carbon arc, and gas welding/cutting equipment. Weld parts to print and process specifications. Responsible for own set-ups, and for inspecting own parts. Responsible for following safety rules, producing quality workmanship, the upkeep of welding equipment, and for good housekeeping in and around the work area. Completion of all associated paperwork and recordkeeping as required.

The responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the company. What Do You Need? High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of welding experience. Core skills training in basic shop math, measuring tools and blueprint reading or demonstrated equivalent knowledge is required. Knowledge in machine shop practices and the use of respective inspection instruments used in inspecting own parts. Wire Feed Welding training or demonstrated equivalent knowledge is required.
Work Environment:
Frequently required to lift 10-35 lbs. Required to lift up to 62 pounds on a rare basis. Employee is occasionally required to work in and maintain a difficult work position. Working conditions for the Welder's position involve continuously working in an environment, which is hot, noisy, and very smoky. Despite wearing safety clothing and equipment, the employee is exposed to situations which are disagreeable. Hazards associated with this position could result in flash burns to the eyes, and burns to the skin. The Toro Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
