The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret for fabrication drawings. This role involves working with various materials and utilizing advanced welding techniques to fabricate components that meet industry standards. A commitment to safety and quality is essential in this position. Duties Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Perform welding tasks using various techniques including MIG and stick welding. Execute plasma cutting for precise material shaping as needed. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication processes. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all work performed.
