Fuel your passion As a Welder, you are contributing to the safe and efficient fabrication of high‑quality components that support our manufacturing operations. You are ensuring that all welding activities are performed with precision, accuracy, and adherence to company standards. You are maintaining a strong focus on safety, craftsmanship, and productivity while supporting continuous improvement across the production environment. As a Welder, you will be responsible for: Reviewing drawings and instructions to understand welding requirements Prioritizing work orders to meet production schedules Performing layouts and preparing materials for welding Positioning, aligning, and fitting components together accurately Bolting, clamping, and tack‑welding parts to secure them for final welding Setting up equipment and welding parts using manual and automatic welding tools Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with manufacturing procedures Performing additional duties as assigned based on workload and business needs To be successful in this role you will have: Have a high school diploma or GED Have a welding certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent experience Have at least 6 months of
TIG & MIG
welding experience Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints Have intermediate math and reading skills Have the ability to safely operate industrial equipment including manual welders, MIG, TIG, automatic welders, plasma cutters, and cutting torches Have the ability to meet company QA welder qualifications (NADCAP certification) Have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety Have the ability to follow all manufacturing procedures and company policies Have strong time‑management skills and the ability to stay on task Have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with peers, supervisors, management, and external representatives Physical Requirements Motor skills sufficient to safely operate required tools and machinery Visual acuity of 20/30 or better, ability to read the Jaeger No. 2 chart at 16 inches, and satisfactory performance on the Ishihara color test (natural or corrected vision acceptable; tested annually at company expense) Ability to stand and/or walk for most of an 8-10-hour shift, with additional hours as needed for overtime Ability to lift to 50 pounds as required Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses and safety shoes Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
