Job Description

WelderJob Summary:
Our Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, joining, and repairing metal components using a variety of welding techniques and equipment. The welder will interpret blueprints, ensure high-quality welds, and follow all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and flux-core welders Perform welding on a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools Set up components for welding according to specifications Use appropriate tools to weld, cut, and grind metal components Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required) Certification in welding from a recognized institution (preferred) Proven experience as a welder (1+ years preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and equipment Physical strength and stamina Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods Working in hot, noisy, and physically demanding environments
Work Environment:
Fabrication shop, construction sites, or industrial facilities Exposure to heat, sparks, and welding fumes Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
