Job Description

Do you have a strong attention to detail and love to multi-task? Do you enjoy working with steel and robust materials & equipment? Trinity Products is in search of a Pipe Cutter for our St. Charles Mill. Position is 1st Shift ( Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm ). Main focus of this position is processing steel pipe according to work order instructions by cutting pipe to specified lengths and end requirements. Hands-on training provided!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize plasma torches and cutters to make cuts to steel pipe. Keep the flow of steel materials moving at a steady rate by multi-tasking and having a strong attention to detail. Utilize various hand tools and equipment. Utilize mobile device applications and programs. Utilize a tape measure to ensure cuts are accurate. Perform various mathematical calculations.
Requirements :
Steel toe boots and sleeved shirts are required and the employee's responsibility. Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, & protective gloves provided by Trinity. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy top of mind. Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working in varied ambient temperatures Ability to multi-task and with strong attention to detail. Must be able to read tape measure. Must be able to read and understand work orders.
