Welder

Position Overview Hillsdale Fabricators, Alberici's steel division and one of the largest steel fabricators in the Midwest, is hiring Welders for full-time positions in St. Louis, MO. As part of our team, you will create top-level assemblies used to build stadiums, multi-story buildings, bridges, and hospitals. Collaborating with fellow professionals in your craft, you will take collections of structural cross sections of steel and bring them to heights that will last for generations. Job Duties Using FCAW and SAW processes, perform high quality welds across multiple positions. Self-inspect (prior to in-house QC) to ensure visually appealing, smooth, and uniform welds compliant with

AWS D1.1

standards of quality. As required, perform weld adjacent tasks including, but not limited to, back gouging, air arcing, weld scarfing, and operating plasma and propylene torches. Assist in layout of welded material, commenting on weld progression through final product. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma preferred, but not required. Experience preferred, but not required.

Other qualifications include:

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and perform basic math for measurements and calculations. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Attention to detail with focus on producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. • 2:30pm to 11:00pm Pay & Benefits The hourly rate for this position is $20
• 30, depending on experience and skill level.

There is a $2 pay differential for 2nd shift. Employees are paid weekly with occasional opportunities for overtime.
