1st Shift | Monday•Friday | 7:00 AM•3:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and certified Welder (TIG/MIG) to support our growing fabrication shop. This role is responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling stainless steel components used in wastewater treatment equipment. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform welding operations on stainless steel using TIG, MIG, and stick welding processes according to company specifications Set up and operate welding equipment to fabricate parts and assemblies per drawings and job requirements Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measuring instruments accurately Fabricate assemblies using pipes, fittings, and related components Operate laser cutting machines and other approved equipment to cut metals Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following all safety procedures and regulations Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on welding and fabrication equipment Learn, operate, and support co-welding robotic systems as required Load and unload shipments using approved material handling methods Follow all safety protocols and quality standards at all times Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations Qualifications & Requirements Previous welding experience required Strong TIG and MIG welding experience strongly preferred Welding certification required or ability to obtain certification within a defined timeframe Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery for cleaning and maintenance Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Ingersoll Rand Inc.
