Job Shop Hiring:
Experienced Fabricator/Welder:
Stick Welding, Mig Welder & Tig Welder We are a family-owned custom fabrication job shop looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team full-time. If you enjoy variety, custom projects, and hands-on fabrication rather than repetitive production-line work, this may be a great fit. Our services include welding, fabrication, drawing, cutting, industrial maintenance, and a full-service machine shop. Position Summary We are looking for an experienced fabricator/welder who can take a project from blueprint to finished product . The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, takes pride in their workmanship, and can work independently while also being a strong team member. This role includes MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum , along with setting up and operating various fabrication machines. Duties and Responsibilities Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, and work orders Plan and set up components for welding operations Align components using fixtures, tape measures, and clamps Fabricate structural and custom equipment from blueprints and work orders Set up, adjust, and operate welding and fabrication equipment Perform Stick, MIG, and TIG welding Layout, shear, saw, bend, and form materials to meet specifications Work with galvanized steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerances Perform installation and repair work in the shop and occasionally in the field Take pride in delivering finished products that meet specifications Offer ideas and solutions to supervisors, engineers, and peers Maintain equipment and a safe, clean work environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in awkward positions (bending, stooping, kneeling, standing) Other duties as assigned Qualifications 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience Minimum 3 years TIG/MIG welding experience Ability to read and fabricate from blueprints with attention to detail Experience operating fabrication equipment (saws, presses, grinders, etc.) Strong math, measurement, and layout skills Must pass weld and assembly test Must have personal PPE (helmet, gloves, basic tools) Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays when required Machining, AutoCAD, painting, millwright, or installation experience is a plus Strong work ethic and dependable attendance required Work Schedule Monday•Friday, 7:00 AM•4:00 PM Overtime as required Pay is based on experience.
Work Hours:
Monday•Friday 7:00am•4:00pm, overtime when required. A good work ethic and outstanding attendance is a must. Benefits (after 90 days) include: Health insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Holidays & Vacation. Apply in Person or by email:
