Per Diem:
$150/day per diem
- 7 days a week Job Description The role involves assembling flare tube extensions, return bends, and various copper hookup components into coils.
You will join these components with a brazing rod using an oxygen-acetylene torch. This position requires preparing coils for brazing, brazing coils with various types of rods, and making your own setups. Additionally, you should be able to read blueprints and perform simple arithmetic. Responsibilities
- Assemble and braze headers and manifold components
- Braze sub-assemblies using various rods
- Braze return bends, headers, and subassemblies to coils using coil prints
- Monitor inventory levels of headers and manifold sub-assemblies.
The Brazer will be responsible for assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Skills
- Brazing experience with BCUP 5 and Stay-Silv Brazing Flux
- Mechanical skills including the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and perform simple arithmetic. Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Ability to braze brass fittings to copper
- Proficiency in using various hand tools.

- Prepare header and manifold components for brazing both on and off line
- Braze components using braze torch & braze rod BCUP 5 and Stay-Silv Brazing Flux
- Experience in brazing 180 & 360 degree with braze torch
- Should be able to braze brass fittings to copper
- Able to use various different hand tools
- Read blueprints and use simple arithmetic
- Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metal components in the fabrication of chiller assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper assembly.
- Set up, adjust, and operate brazing torches and related equipment to achieve strong, leak-proof joints.
- Inspect joints for quality assurance, ensuring all work meets company and industry standards.
- Work closely with welders, assemblers, and quality control teams to maintain production efficiency and accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of torches, gases, and other hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- Identify and report any defects, material shortages, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes. Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grenada, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00
