Welder/Fabricator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The position is for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Responsibilities Work as a welder/fabricator in a small shop setting. Read and interpret blueprints accurately, as blueprint reading is essential. Create custom metal pieces, ranging from 200 of a certain piece to 20 of 15 different SKUs. Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products. Follow blueprints to meet product specifications. Calculate material measurements to verify specifications. Essential Skills Fabrication Blueprint reading MIG welding Welding and fitting Use of a tape measure Assembly and hand tool proficiency Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields. Familiarity with welding tools and procedures. Understanding of engineering blueprints and schematics. Ability to handle physical workloads. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are crucial. Work Environment The work is conducted in a small, non-temperature-controlled shop located in Nesbit. The environment fosters learning and teamwork, with a casual dress code. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hernando, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
