Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are met for our company as well as safety protocals for Nutrien Aurora. Responsibilities Perform welding tasks using Stick welding and other techniques to fabricate metal components. Operate power tools and machinery, including a press brake machine, to shape and assemble metal parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Utilize cranes for the safe movement of heavy materials during the welding process. Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship. Qualifications Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with operating power tools and machinery safely and effectively. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Prior experience operating cranes is a plus.
