Welder/Fabricator - 80% TIG / 20% MIG

Product Recovery Management is currently seeking a skilled TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team at our facility in Butner, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for welding aluminum, stainless steel, and structural steel to create complex structures, tanks, and vessels. We require proficiency in MIG and TIG welding and plasma cutting, as well as the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings while strictly adhering to all safety regulations. Your core responsibilities will include welding structures using MIG and TIG methods, preparing work areas and materials, and adjusting equipment settings for specific applications. You will also be expected to conduct quality control inspections throughout the fabrication process, maintain an organized workspace, and assist with additional duties as assigned, such as loading trucks. To be considered for this position, candidates should possess at least four years of welding experience, with a primary focus on TIG. We are looking for individuals with strong problem-solving skills, proficiency with tape measures, and basic mathematical abilities. Please note that this role requires the physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and stand for full eight-hour shifts. Additionally, candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, the ability to pass a drug test, and a willingness to perform occasional on-site work as needed. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule. The hourly salary ranges from $18.00 to $28.00, depending on experience and workmanship.
