3+ years of dedicated aluminum welding and custom metal fabrication experience.Welding Proficiency:
strong MIG aluminum welding skills required (TIG welding experience is a significant plus).Technical Skills:
Proven ability to read and fabricate directly from engineering blueprints and technical drawings.Tool Competency:
Hands-on experience operating industrial fabrication machinery (press brake, shear, grinders, saws, drills).Craftsmanship:
High attention to detail with an eye for cosmetic finishing and structural quality.Industry Experience:
Previous experience in custom sign manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or architectural metalwork is strongly preferred. Perform high-quality MIG aluminum welding on custom sign cabinets, structural frames, raceways, and architectural components.Custom Fabrication:
Cut, bend, drill, and shape aluminum stock using shop machinery including press brakes, shears, and band saws.Blueprint Reading:
Interpret technical drawings, shop blueprints, measurements, and work orders to ensure exact tolerances.Finishing & Quality Control:
Grind, dress, and finish welds to meet both structural integrity standards and high-end cosmetic specifications.Assembly:
Assemble components, channel letters, and internal structures prior to final finishing.Safety & Collaboration:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace while collaborating with production team members to hit targeted project deadlines.
