TT&E Iron & Metal Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM- 2:00 AM | Weekends as needed
Pay:
$18- 23/hour (based on experience) Carolina Metal Recyclers (CMR) is hiring a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our 2nd shift operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform SMAW/stick welding to fabricate and repair metal structures and equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine welding requirements Inspect completed welds for structural soundness and quality Assist with general equipment maintenance and repairs when welding is not required Maintain a safe work area and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsNote:
This is a fully outdoor position in a rugged, scrap metal environment.What We're Looking For:
5+ years of SMAW/stick welding experience (required) Experience in shredder or heavy equipment maintenance is a plus Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise) Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented Must be at least 18 years old Must pass welding test and supply your own face shieldCompensation & Benefits:
