Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality products that meet industry standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes. Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and other welding techniques to securely join metal components. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble parts. Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment. Fabricate sheet metal components, ductwork, piping, and structural assemblies following ASME codes & standards. Safely operate rigging equipment and forklifts for material handling and assembly tasks. Conduct quality inspections using schematics, basic math skills, and mechanical knowledge to verify dimensions and weld integrity. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Requirements Proficiency in various welding types such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, and plasma cutting techniques. Previous welding experience, construction site experience, or a manufacturing background with hands-on fabrication work is preferred but not required. Ability to accurately read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, machining equipment, and rigging gear. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes is preferred. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience working with sheet metal, ductwork, pipe threading, or similar materials is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts safely (must be certified or complete training upon employment).
