Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipe in various positions following safety and quality standards
- Achieve 100% weld quality across all positions and applications
- Fabricate and manufacture finished metal products based on specifications
- Install and repair equipment and piping components as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to meet product specifications
- Measure and verify materials to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate weld quality and tolerances
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all company policies Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of pipe welding experience required
- Proficiency in TIG welding, specifically on stainless steel pipe
- Ability to pass weld certification tests including open root joint and 6G fixed position per ASME Section IX
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related environments preferred
- Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
- Must possess appropriate welding attire and PPE Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to step over and work on fixtures approximately 28 inches off the floor
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (heat and cold)
- Ability to work in high-noise environments (90+ decibels)
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions throughout the shift Benefits
