Fabricator/Welder

Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to rig, build, and assemble various components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to industry codes and standards to ensure high-quality workmanship. Duties Perform welding tasks using various techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding. Rig and build components as per project requirements. Assemble parts and structures according to blueprints and technical drawings. Utilize cranes for lifting heavy materials and equipment during the fabrication process. Conduct inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with proficiency in FCAW and Stick welding techniques. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication processes. Experience operating cranes safely for material handling is preferred. Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
