About Southern Electrical Equipment Company (SEECO): SEECO was founded in 1920 when several engineers left Duke Power to create a new "start-up" company, with the intent to design and manufacture better products for their industry. Our ongoing product development efforts have been a key growth factor for SEECO, producing innovative and commercially successful products, such as unitized transmission switches, line post sensors for transmission switching automation applications, single bottle and multi-bottle vacuum interrupters, and single and variable speed electro-mechanical motor operators.
About the job:
SEECO is seeking an Aluminum Welder . You must be able to set up welding machines and equipment (both MIG and TIG); read and interpret blueprints to understand the product's specifications; and inspect your work for accuracy and quality. Our perfect candidate has at least 3 years of welding experience and can work independently. All candidates must be able to pass a hands-on weld test in addition to the company required background check and drug screen.
What you will do:
Set up welding equipment and tools (MIG and TIG) Review blueprints for specifications Finish and inspect products for quality Follow ALL safety guidelines and adhere to attendance expectations.
What you will bring:
High school diploma or GED certificate 3+ years of welding experience preferred MIG or TIG Certification (preferred) Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Attention to detail Self-motivated and driven to succeed Professional demeanor
