Fitter/Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a full-time Fitter to join our fast-paced welding and fabrication department . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, safety-minded individual with strong welding skills and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Debur and finish all sharp metal edges to ensure safety and product quality. Determine metals, welding methods, and job specifications when not pre-defined. Select, position, align, and secure parts or fixtures for welding. Perform MIG welding on thin-gauge aluminum . Accurately read blueprints, sketches, and utilize shop math . Complete welds to company standards using MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding techniques; aluminum experience required. Follow proper workstation procedures and safety practices at all times. Operate metal-cutting equipment including Chop Saw, Angle Grinder, Table Saw, and Hydraulic Shear . Cut, grind, sand, clean, and finish aluminum welded parts to specification. Measure materials accurately to minimize waste. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform vertical and horizontal fillet MIG welds with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications 2-5 years of welding experience in a fabrication or industrial environment. Proficiency using a Chop Saw, Angle Grinder, Table Saw, Hydraulic Shear, and related tools. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and interpret blueprints. Capable of lifting 50 lbs or more . Ability and willingness to work extended hours when required to meet production goals. Ability to perform MIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel to company standards. TIG welding skill is a plus. Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality welds with consistency and minimal rework.
