We are hiring a Welder with Flux Core, TIG Stainless, Robotic experience for first shift Monday - Friday. This position will fabricate and weld steel, aluminum, and stainless structures and components to customer specifications utilizing applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform Flux Core Welding, TIG Stainless, Robotic May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, or guides using measuring instruments and hand tools. Operate welding equipment, regulate current and voltage or gas and feed rate for proper fusion of metals. Select electrode type and size or wire size and type appropriate for metal and welding application. Able to read complex blueprints. Able to perform quality checks of work. Experience in following work instructions and procedures. Inspect part prior to fit and ensure proper alignment. Ensure orientation of part is correct. Visually inspect part prior to fitting to ensure proper conformance. Visually inspect joint for cleanliness and depth. Fit parts, while keeping within specification. Able to successfully obtain AWS welder certification within 30 days. Ability to safely operate overhead crane and forklift equipment. Ability to acquire AWS certifications during training. All other duties as assigned. Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Academic/Experience/Credentials/Certifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three years Flux Core, TIG Stainless, or Robotic welding experience. AWS certifications must be acquired during training Specialized Skills/Knowledge/Ability Strong attention to detail. Good command of the English language both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands. Ability to read, write and follow established methods and procedures. Ability to perform simple shop math. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes). Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Perform work in a non-climate controlled shop environment. May work at different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another during the assembly process.
