The ideal candidate will have experience in
ALUMINUM
welding and will be expected to run an aluminum mig gun on day one. They will be able to follow instructions and work with little supervision. Attitude and ability to work within a team are extremely important. Responsibilities As an aluminum welder/fabricator, you'll be following the leader and assisting team members in ALL aspects of boat building. In addition to welding, you will be involved in all aspects of boat building.
Experience:
Previous experience in aluminum welding is required. Solely aluminum experience in welding school is not sufficient. Any type of carpentry background is also preferential. Ability to cut, shape and assemble small parts using various tools (e.g., saws, drills etc.)is preferred This position is M-Th 7:00-5:30. Pay is negotiable with experience. Attitude and eagerness to learn are the most important qualities for candidates to possess.
