Position:

Wearparts Tillage Tools is now accepting applications for a skilled welder with a positive attitude to join our day shift team (7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday). This position would require the use of a manual welder for assembly and fabrication work on tillage replacement parts. This position involves the use of potentially dangerous equipment; it is important health and safety requirements are met and ensure responsibility is taken for the security of the warehouse and stock.

Primary Duties:

Read blueprints, drawings, and take measurements to plan layout and procedure Accurately measure bolt patterns, axle diameters and blade dimensions Determine the appropriate welding equipment and method based on requirements Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions Safely operate forklift and pallet jack Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Ensure safe operation of the warehouse including meeting standards for sanitation, maintenance, security and housekeeping Other duties as required and assigned

Requirements:

Experience with welding required Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA, etc.) Diagnose and repair machines as needed Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Positive "can-do" attitude Knowledge of relative safety standards
