Job Description

Responsibilities Set up and operate welding equipment with precision and care. Perform welding tasks in flat, vertical, and horizontal positions as required by project specifications. Utilize welding-related equipment such as positioners, jig fixtures, and cutting tools to complete assignments. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Follow established welding procedures and select appropriate equipment and processes for each job. Plan welding sequences to maximize efficiency and minimize distortion. Inspect welded surfaces to verify compliance with size and visual acceptance criteria. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and supplies. Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve processes. Adhere to all safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Support company goals with a focus on safety, quality, and production. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or apprentice certification preferred. Experience with a variety of welding equipment and procedures. Proficiency with electrical and manual tools. Knowledge of safety standards in a welding environment. Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Dependable, professional, and committed to integrity.
