Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to apply precise tack welds on small aluminum components. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and the capability to read and interpret blueprints and process sheets. Perform high-precision TIG welding and tack welding on aluminum parts. Use measurement tools such as micro-height gauges and calipers to verify dimensions. Lay out, fit, and tack parts and assemblies per blueprint specifications. Review and follow detailed process sheets and assembly instructions. Collaborate effectively with team members in a professional environment. Properly use and maintain all required PPE. Follow all safety and training requirements related to chemical and shop hazards. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility. Experience using precision measurement tools such as height gauges, calipers, and mechanical fixtures. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience manipulating metal parts to tight tolerances. Experience working with aluminum and copper materials preferred. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and repeatability. Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify conformance to specifications. Comfortable documenting measurements and work performed per quality procedures. Understanding of shop safety practices and proper tool handling. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform assigned tasks reliably on 2nd shift.
