We've been in business since 1975 and build a wide range of aluminum products, including FWM Docks, EZ Dock systems, Rugged aluminum trailers, and industrial cryogenic heat exchangers. We're looking for an experienced aluminum welder who takes pride in clean, consistent, high-quality work. This is a great fit for someone who is skilled in MIG and TIG aluminum welding, comfortable reading drawings, and wants steady work in a shop where craftsmanship still matters. The Job As an aluminum welder at FWM, you'll work on a variety of products across our different business lines. Some days you may be welding dock frames. Other days you may be working on trailer components, aluminum structures, or industrial heat exchanger assemblies. This is hands-on shop work where quality, accuracy, and fit-up matter. We're looking for someone who can work safely, stay organized, and produce strong, clean welds. What You'll Do MIG and TIG weld aluminum components and assemblies Fabricate and weld parts for docks, trailers, and industrial products Read and work from drawings, layouts, cut lists, and shop instructions Fit, square, tack, and weld aluminum assemblies Use grinders, saws, clamps, fixtures, hand tools, and power tools Inspect your own work for quality, accuracy, and appearance Work with the team to meet production schedules Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow proper welding and shop safety practices Who We're Looking For The right person is: Experienced in aluminum welding Skilled in MIG and TIG welding Comfortable reading drawings and basic layouts Good with hand tools and power tools Reliable, punctual, and professional Detail-oriented and proud of clean welds Able to work independently once trained Comfortable working as part of a production team Focused on safety, quality, and getting the job done right We're looking for someone who cares about the work, not someone who just wants to punch a clock.
