MIG Welder Job Overview Perform MIG welding and steel fabrication for containers Work in a high-volume production environment 1st

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Use GMAW processes on an automated conveyor system Key Responsibilities Perform MIG (GMAW) welding in: Flat Vertical Overhead positions Fabricate, repair, and finish steel storage and shipping containers Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Measure, layout, align, and secure parts before welding Use hand and power tools (grinders, drills, shears, etc.) Monitor welding process to prevent: Warping Distortion Overheating Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment Perform cutting using: Oxy/acetylene Plasma tools Grind, smooth, and finish welded components Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Required Skills Around 5 years of MIG welding experience (production/fabrication) Strong expertise in GMAW welding Ability to pass AWS 4G welding test Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills Experience using hand and power tools High attention to detail and safety practices Preferred Qualifications Experience in steel fabrication and production welding Knowledge of additional welding processes:

TIG FCAW SMAW
