Job Description

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, torches, grinders, and cutting tools
  • Fit, align, and assemble metal components according to project specifications
  • Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with AWS or company standards
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use, hot-work protocols, and hazard reporting
  • Work with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
  • Perform basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, beveling, drilling, and measuring
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with field installations or repairs when required
