Job Description
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, torches, grinders, and cutting tools
- Fit, align, and assemble metal components according to project specifications
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with AWS or company standards
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use, hot-work protocols, and hazard reporting
- Work with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
- Perform basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, beveling, drilling, and measuring
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with field installations or repairs when required
