Job Description
Metal Fabrication Welder — Training Systems Manufacturing Do you take pride in flawless beads, tight tolerances, and clean layouts? At Milo Live in North Las Vegas, you'll transform prints into mission-ready steel structures for live fire training systems, modular ranges, and custom HVAC integrations that serve military and law enforcement teams nationwide. What you'll do Join, cut, and finish steel components using MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW to meet stringent specs. Decode blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols—and build exactly what's on paper. Create and use jigs/fixtures to hold tolerances on complex, large-scale assemblies. Choose processes, consumables, and parameters based on metallurgy and project goals. Measure with calipers/micrometers; perform precise layout and high-quality finishing. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely. Offer ideas to refine products and improve throughput without compromising safety. What you bring 2-3 years of professional welding experience with strong independent work habits. Blueprint reading expertise and comfort with technical documentation. Proficiency using precision measuring tools and maintaining quality standards. Understanding of metallurgy and a range of welding techniques. Physical readiness for hands-on fabrication in a production environment. Education and hiring criteria High School Diploma or GED. Must pass pre-screening drug test and background check Must pass the welding test prior to being hired Complete the application process and in-house welding test. English fluency for reading, writing, and speaking on the floor. Credentials and process mastery MIG certification (1-inch, all positions).
