Full Job Description About Us:
Job Description Our rapidly growing custom fabrication company needs an experienced Welder to join our team. We're looking for a hardworking energetic professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations. We are seeking long term, full-time candidates for the day shift, Monday thru Friday with overtime as needed.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Must have experience in welding mild steel, stainless steel, & aluminum Minimum of three (3) years' experience welding in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of welding practices Knowledge of reading drawings and blueprints. Must be able to read tape measure , be proficient at layout, and have experience reading plans and specs.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needs Verify material sizes Interpret drawings to cut, notch, fit, and weld materials to proper specifications Monitor and verify the accuracy of each job's initial set-up and final outcome Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Pay Rate:
Starting at $20.00 per hour and up depending on experience and ability to pass a Weld Test.
