HIRING BONUS
$2,500 after successful completion of 30 days of employment. Oxbo is the worldwide leader in specialty harvesters. We design, manufacture, and distribute innovative harvesting equipment and related products for the application, berry, coffee, field corn, forage, fresh market vegetable, olives, processed vegetable, seed, and vineyard markets We are currently seeking skilled Welder/Fabricators to join our 2nd shift team. Our operation is a high mix low volume production, offering the opportunity to work on a wide variety of large agricultural equipment and complex weldments. Our welders are problem solvers and craftsmen utilizing engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate assemblies both with and without fixtures. What You'll Do Primarily MIG, limited TIG- primarily carbon steel, some stainless and AL
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and process instructions
- Perform fit-up, layout, and fabrication of assemblies both with, and without fixtures
- Understand dimensional tolerancing and stack-ups, utilize GD&T to ensure quality
- Perform self-inspection to meet or exceed Oxbo quality standards
- Work both independently and in team environments
- Work in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement Qualifications
- Experience with MIG welding in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of AWS weld
- bonus if you have an understanding of ISO
- Ability to fabricate and layout weldments by hand when needed
- Experience with large structural weldments, agricultural or heavy equipment is preferred
- Must successfully pass Oxbo weld qualification test What makes us different
