Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking 1st and 2nd shift Welders in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within the Machining industry.

Welder Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding for the fabrication of metal assemblies. Ensure welding operations are performed in accordance with established specifications, including production work orders and drawings. Conduct self-inspections and ensure quality in accordance with procedures, utilizing drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools. Ensure safety while handling parts and operating equipment to avoid any possible damage to others as well as production. Actively participate in new product introduction and suggest new approaches and techniques for continued improvement in production and quality. Ensure product and work order information is accurate. Actively participate in the upkeep and cleanliness of the workplace and general area overall. Perform routine welding machine maintenance as stipulated and outlined in the maintenance procedure manual. Keep the workplace safe and free of dangerous obstacles.
