Job Description

Job Summary Cobey is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to Perform precision open-root welding on piping systems using
MIG, & TIG
techniques on ½" to 12" pipe. This role is critical in producing world-class Lube Oil Consoles, Gas Conditioning Skids, and related products that power the global energy industry To be considered for this role, knowledge of ASME welding standards, minimum 1 year on-site pipe welding experience, and strong ability to read and interpret Pipe Spool Drawings and weld symbols are a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform precision open-root welding on piping systems using
MIG, & TIG
techniques on ½" to 12" pipe Work safely by following both OSHA and Cobey's safety rules and regulations Interpret drawings and weld symbols to ensure compliance with specifications. Execute welds on carbon steel, stainless steel for high-pressure applications. Independently follow instructions and carry out job tasks with minimal supervision Maintain quality standards through proper joint preparation, fit up, and inspection. Collaborate with assembly teams and leads to meet project timelines. Drive a forklift User of overhead cranes
Special Requirements:
Must pass a weld test (Mig or Tig weld test) Must pass X-Ray test Knowledge of ASME standards Ability to read and interpret Pipe Spool Drawings, and weld symbols Able to lift 50 lbs.
Credentials and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma/GED Welding education certificate preferred Minimum 1 year of welding experience
