Job Description
Welder Fitter (MIG)
Locations:
Elmira & Hawkesville, ON Permanent, Full-time We are currently seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our clients' growing team at their Elmira and Hawkesville manufacturing facilities. If you have experience welding heavy-gauge steel, can interpret blueprints, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we'd like to hear from you.Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$28.00- $36.
Night Shift Premium:
Additional $3.00/hour No rotating shifts Comprehensive benefits after 90 days Voluntary RRSP program 2 weeks paid vacation Day Shift (44 hours/week) MondayThursday:
7:00 AM- 5:00
PM, Friday:
7:00 AM- 1:30 PM Night Shift ( Monday
Friday:
5:00 PM- 4:30 AM ($3/hr premium) Qualifications Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience Experience welding heavy gauge steel Strong fitting and fabrication experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred MIG welding certification or vocational training is considered an asset Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to work independently and within a team environment Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine welding requirements.
