CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR
Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and adhere to industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, precision in work, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for building and assembling metal structures and components while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Responsibilities Fabricate metal components according to specifications using various welding techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding. Operate power tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, calipers, and micrometers to ensure precise measurements and cuts. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements. Rig materials safely for lifting and positioning during the fabrication process. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required codes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals. Experience Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficiency in various welding techniques including FCAW, Stick welding, and plasma cutting. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
