JOB DESCRIPTION A

manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Weld Technician to set up, operate, and program welding equipment to support production needs. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

Set up, run, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems Program and adjust robotic welders to meet production specifications Operate projection and resistance welding machines Inspect welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment Work with production and engineering teams to improve weld processes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:

Must have 2+ years of welding experience; Experience with robotic weld programming preferred Knowledge of projection and resistance welding processes is needed Must have a strong mechanical aptitude while being able to pay a high attention to detail Must be able to read and interpret blueprint and welding symbols Must have strong troubleshooting skills Must be able to work safely and abide by all company standards, policies, and procedures Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
