Description Welder/Mold Fitter Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Mold Fitter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting molds and metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the quality and durability of our products, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of materials and techniques, where your mechanical knowledge and craftsmanship will make a real impact. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprint, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assemly processes. Perform MIG and TIG welding techniques to join metals accurately according to specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards are met. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes for lifting heavy molds or materials safely during fabrication or assembly. Maintain detailed documentation of work processes, inspections, and measurements while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Experience Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication or assembly processes. Skilled in MIG welding and TIG welding. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math calculations necessary for precise fabrication. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, lathes, and bridgeports. Knowledge of rigging procedures including crane operations for lifting heavy components safely.
